CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Tax payers, $800,000 of your tax money is going to renovate a restroom. City council approved an $844,000 contract Monday night for work at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Uptown. The money will double the stalls in the orchestra level women’s restroom at the Belk Theatre.
