Edge on Demand: Newtown 911 Tapes Released

This video is no longer available.

Nearly one year ago, Adam Lanza walked into Sandy HookElementary School, and murdered 26 children in cold blood.  It’s a case that shocked the nation.  But nearly as shocking for some, is what happened yesterday.

A judge ordered the release of the 911 tapes after the Associated Press filed a lawsuit to gain access.  People against the idea say the recordings are a source of potential heartache for the families of the victims.  But of course, nobody is being forced to listen to them.  But was it too insensitive to release them at all?
