FORT MILL, S.C. — Police say a former PTO member stole more than $35,000 from a Fort Mill school.Β Investigators charged 43-year-old Sherry Slate with breach of trust with fraudulent intent.Β
She is accused of taking $35,147.61 from the Pleasant Knoll Elementary School PTO account.Β She was a treasurer of the PTO for several years.Β She turned herself into police custody on Wednesday.
