Nevada School Shooting Hits Home For CMS Superintendent

SPARKS, N.V. — A teacher who died trying to stop a boy from opening fire at a school in Nevada is being called a hero.  The 12-year-old started shooting outside Sparks Middle School on Monday.

He killed a math teacher, injured two students, then killed himself.  It’s the same district where Dr. Heath Morrison was superintendent before he came to Charlotte.
