South Pointe High School Student Arrested For Helping Murder Suspect Flee The State

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say a South Pointe High School student has been arrested for helping a Rock Hill murder suspect get to Florida. 

Detectives arrested 18-year-old Shakira McCullough at the school on Tuesday.  She has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. 

Investigators say she helped Kenyan McClinton, her boyfriend, flee South Carolina and get to Florida after he was allegedly involved in a shooting that happened on November 19th at the Stone Haven apartments. 

Twenty-year-old Jordan Poirier was killed in the shooting.  Two other men are also facing charges in the homicide.
