IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A Statesville man is behind bars after deputies say they found child pornography on his computers.
According to authorities, on Friday, November 8, SBI officials and detectives were asked to assist with a search warrant for a home on Eight Point Drive in Eastern Iredell County. When officials arrived they did a search of the computers at the home and say they found numerous images and videos of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct with adults. The computers were seized and 32-year-old Jeremy Bruce was arrested.
Bruce is charged with five counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He currently is being held under a $50,000 secured bond.
Detectives say the investigation is continuing and federal charges are likely.
