HENDERSONVILLE, TN – A Nashville teacher’s Facebook photo went viral, giving the post more attention than the teacher anticipated. Julie Culp, counselor at Indian Lake Elementary School in Hendersonville, posted her photo to Facebook with a sign asking people to like her photo.
The post quickly went viral and then blew up on the internet with over three and one-half million people liking it. It hit Twitter, Google+ and Reddit. Even in foreign languages, the message got across. “You’ve gotta think before you do it, you can’t just post something up there and think it’s not a big deal, because it can be a big deal,” said Ms. Culp. And it seems that her students are not the only ones who got the message. “If you don’t want anybody to see it, you don’t want to put it up there.”
