CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Ever wondered what happens when someone dials 9-1-1 for an emergency? Wilson was at the 9-1-1 call center today and visited with Medic to see just what goes on when a call is received and how emergencies are handled. He was there when a Medic ambulance left out on a call.
Medic has been serving Mecklenburg County for the past 35 years, covering over 544 square miles which includes the ever growing city of Charlotte as well as all of the cities in the county.
While at the Medic facility Wilson had the opportunity go to their CPR training room and take a lesson on CPR. Medic offers CPR training for both certification and non-certification as well as on-line health information.
