CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested an armed robbery suspect early Wednesday morning in south Charlotte.Β Investigators say Andonus Purvis robbed a Seven Eleven on Reames Road.Β
The store clerk told police Purvis entered the store, demanded money then fled the scene on foot.Β A short time later, police detained Purvis because he matched the suspect’s description.Β
After being interviewed by police, Purvis was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Β
