CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested an armed robbery suspect early Wednesday morning in south Charlotte. Investigators say Andonus Purvis robbed a Seven Eleven on Reames Road.
The store clerk told police Purvis entered the store, demanded money then fled the scene on foot. A short time later, police detained Purvis because he matched the suspect’s description.
After being interviewed by police, Purvis was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
