Police Make Arrest In Gamestop Robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a domestic violence call ended with a robbery suspect in custody.  Detectives say Stanley Mitchell has been charged with robbing the Gamestop on Galleria Boulevard in east Charlotte.

He is accused of entering the store, pointing a gun at the clerk and demanding money Wednesday morning.  On Thursday, officers responded to a home on Carmenet Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance.

During the course of their investigation, they realized Mitchell was the suspect in the robbery.  He has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
