CLOVE, S.C. — Schools in Clover, South Carolina will dismiss their students early on Wednesday due to a water main break.
School officials say the district will dismiss elementary schools at 1pm. Middle and high schools will dismiss at 2pm. Bus transportation will be provided.
Faculty and staff will remain at the schools until all students are picked up. The elementary school tutoring and YMCA programs are cancelled.
All high school parent meetings for Wednesday night will be rescheduled. The 9th grade and JV boys basketball games have been moved to Rock Hill High School.
Crews have isolated the issue. The town is advising customers to boil their water for at least one minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the Town of Clover.
