CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It’s true that UNC Charlotte 49ers “bleed green” for their school, but on Tuesday along with the American Red Cross they proved they also bleed for their community. At their 5th annual “49ers for Life” Blood Drive, they had largest single day blood drive in Charlotte. They collected 926 pints of blood, nearly 200 more pints than last year. WCCB’s Wilson was live at the school to help them kick off the drive on Tuesday.
