Lincoln County Couple Arrested For Trying To Pass Forged Prescriptions

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police arrested a Lincoln County couple for trying to pass forged prescriptions at a local pharmacy.Β 

Investigators say Amber and Kristopher Henson tried to get prescriptions for Alprazolam and Oxycodone at The Drug Store on East Main Street in Lincolnton.Β  Employees were suspicious and called police.Β 

Amber Henson has been charged with two felony counts of attempting to obtain prescriptions by forgery and uttering a forged instrument.Β  She was also charged with possessing a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and conspiracy.Β 

Kristopher Henson has been charged with two felony counts of attempting to obtain prescriptions by forgery, conspiracy and probation violation.Β 

Police believe the couple is part of a larger ring involving the passing of forged prescriptions in Lincoln and Catawba Counties.Β
