Guy meets girl, they fall in love, the end! Β Old school Hollywood heart throbs could seal the deal in an hour or less. Β That’s some game. Β Now it takes about that long to really get the movie’s plot going! Β Forget going to the matinee if you work second shift, you’ll never clock in on time!

According to a group of movie theater owners, the trailers last too longβ€”two and a half minutes each on averageβ€”and there are too many that play before the movies. Β In general, it adds 20 minutes to your overall movie, then you still have to watch the soda ads, and obnoxious reminders to silence your phone!

Β Sure, Wolf of Wall Street got a lot of Oscar nods, but several film critics and some fans complain the flick lasted way too long. Β One guy said he couldn’t even make it to the part where Leo made his debut on Wall Street.

So do you think movies are getting too long these days? Β We hit the chilly streets to find out if you feel Hollywood is getting too long winded…
