It’s the “what if” the NFL has never needed to address: what if it snows during the Super Bowl? Up until now, it’s always been at a covered stadium, or someplace that wouldn’t get snow. But this year, it’s at MetLife Stadium. In New Jersey. In winter. So the plan is that they might play the game any day from Friday through Monday.
But while we wait for a better picture of what the weather might do, some fans don’t mind snowy reception. Remember the games in Philly and Baltimore last month? It was so bad, you could barely see anything, but fans said the weather actually made for more interesting games.
