CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews are treating the roads in preparation for snow in the Charlotte area. The Piedmont is expected to get 1-2 inches of snow beginning around 1 p.m.

Charlotte could get more snow if the system moves to the west. The heaviest snow will fall between 2-5 p.m.
Tuesday’s high is 30 degrees with breezy conditions. We will dip back into the 20’s around 5 p.m.
Tuesday night will be in the teens. Be aware of icy conditions on the roads Wednesday morning. A winter weather advisory is in affect for the Charlotte area until 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
