LANCASTER, S.C. — Two people have been arrested for a robbery in Lancaster. Investigators say Robert Mehaffey and Summer Hinson worked together to pull off the crime.
Mehaffey is accused of handing a clerk at Lloyd’s store on Highway 9 a note that demanded money. He has been charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
During the course of the investigation, police determined Hinson wrote the note that Mehaffey handed the clerk during the robbery. She has been charged with resisting arrest and accessory before the fact of armed robbery.
