ROCK HILL, S.C. – A Winthrop University student walking from the school’s DiGiorgio Center Monday says a stranger exposed himself to her.
The 19-year-old woman says the suspect was driving a black car and pulled up beside her at the intersection of Ebenezer Avenue and Founders Lane just after 10PM. The police report indicates he asked for directions to Popeyes Chicken. When she started giving directions, she looked in the car and the suspect had exposed himself. He quickly drove off.
The woman tells police the suspect was a black man wearing an orange hat and a blue shirt. She describes him as about 5’11” tall, 260 lbs. He was driving an older model, four-door black car described as being “in good shape.” She was unable to get more details about the car or the man.
Winthrop University police made a sweep of the area to look for the suspect or his vehicle but didn’t find anything.
