ROCK HILL, S.C. – A Winthrop University student walking from the school’s DiGiorgio Center Monday says a stranger exposed himself to her.
The 19-year-old woman says the suspect was driving a black car and pulled up beside her at the intersection of Ebenezer Avenue and Founders Lane just after 10PM. Β The police report indicates he asked for directions to Popeyes Chicken. When she started giving directions, she looked in the car and the suspect had exposed himself. Β He quickly drove off. Β
The woman tells police the suspect was a black man wearing an orange hat and a blue shirt. Β She describes him as about 5’11” tall, 260 lbs. Β He was driving an older model, four-door black car described as being “in good shape.” Β She was unable to get more details about the car or the man. Β
Winthrop University police made a sweep of the area to look for the suspect or his vehicle but didn’t find anything. Β
