Public Art Exhibit: “Forms and Shapes, Large and Small”

Charlotte Country Day School presents “Forms and Shapes, Large and Small.” This special exhibit, open to the public March 1 and 2, 1-4 pm, showcases 17 works by contemporary African-American artists working in abstract paintings, drawings, and prints. Featured artists include H.H. Adams, Romare Bearden, Sylvester Britton, Sam Gilliam, Rebecca Haworth,Richard Hunt, Cheryl Warrick, and others. The exhibit is made possible by the generosity of art enthusiasts Judy and Patrick Diamond. This is the fourth year the school hosts an art exhibit open to the public. Previous featured artists include W. Louis Jones, Cundo Bermudez, and Romare Bearden.
