MATTHEWS, N.C. — Police say a woman robbed a bank in Matthews.Β The robbery happened Tuesday afternoon at the BB&T Bank on East John Street.Β
The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 5’4″, last seen wearing a tan knit cap, red eye glasses, grey sweatshirt, black pants, black sneakers and carrying a black backpack.Β
The suspect left the area in a black Toyota Yaris.Β If anyone has information about this case call police at 704-847-5555.
