CHARLOTTE, NC: Actress Shirley Temple Black has passed away at the age of 85. Black is best known for the movies she made in her childhood during the 1930’s like “A Little Princess”, “Curly Top”, and “Heidi”. Black later became an ambassador to Czechoslovakia in 1989. The American Film Institute ranks Shirley Temple as number 18 in their list of the top 50 Hollywood Screen Legends.
