CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Medic confirms one person was hit after a car accident on the outer loop of I-485 in west Charlotte. That person was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.Β
Police have not confirmed how the accident happened. Highway patrol says they are working three accidents in the area near Exit 9B. 3 of 4 lanes are closed.Β
