Β One week ago today, we were looking at the front end of the biggest snowstorm we’ve had in a decade, and we were asking you how long you could stand eating nothing but that milk and bread you were buying. Β But what a difference a week makes, huh?
When the storm hit, there was a pre-precipitation buying frenzy! Β People were preparing to be stuck in their homes for who knows how long, and the place it was most evident was in the grocery store. Β Aisles of milk and bread: decimated! Β People put a hurting on alcohol and canned goods too. Β Anything that would help them weather the storm. Β People also hit hardware stores. Β Buying shovels, salt, sleds, and heaters.
But one week later, and all that has changed. Β It’s beautiful this week, and our Man on the Edge, Robert Wilder, loves to go shopping! Β So instead of bread and milk, what does the warm weather make you want to run out and buy?
