TEGA CAY, SC–The company responsible for repeated sewage spills into Lake Wylie has been cited by federal regulators.
Residents in Tega Cay are frustrated by repeated raw sewage spills, and WCCB has been covering their complaints since 2010.
The EPA says Tega Cay water had at least 27 over flows last year which dumped more than 446,000 gallons of raw sewage into the lake.
Utilities Inc. has been ordered to start fixing the system next month.
