HICKORY, N.C. — Firefighters battled a massive apartment fire early Friday morning in Hickory.Β
Crews had to evacuate residents after the flames ripped through the roof of the building off 9th Avenue Place Southwest around 2:30 a.m.Β
The Red Cross is assisting families that were displaced by the fire.Β No injuries were reported.Β Fire investigators were called to the scene to determine a cause.
