MATTHEWS,NC–Police made an arrest Thursday night in the connection to a Matthews bank heist.
Matthews police say Kelly Simmons robbed the BB&T on east John Street on February 4th.
Witnesses say Simmons walked into the bank with a black backpack and took off with the cash.
Concord police arrested Simmons on Monday and charged her with robbing the BB&T on Harris Road.
