CHARLOTTE, N.C – Fashion for a cause Thursday night in West Charlotte. Β The showΒ benefitted the local grassroots organization Autism Charlotte and featured award-winning designer Luis Machicao.
Machicao was recently awarded Best Designer 2014 after showing his most recent collection at Tiffany’s Paris Fashion Week.
WCCB News @ Ten anchorΒ Morgan Fogarty emceed the event, which was created to inspire people to make an impact on autism in our community.
100% of the money raised by Autism Charlotte stays in the community. Β Thursday night’s event was held atΒ LaCa Projects, the first gallery in the region to specialize exclusively in Latin American contemporary art.
