CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Awards season wrapped up last night with the Oscars. We saw some stunning outfits, and some not-so-fabulous looks.
TVΒ and film makeup expert Kelly Coulter, runway guru and model Jennifer Michelle and fashion fixer Christine Nelson are here with the recap.
The pros agree – Charlize Theron was the Best Dressed! Coulter says the nude hues in her makeup were perfect. Nelson says her statement necklace worked for her. Michelle was in love with the dress’s straps and how she rocked the short hair look.
Nelson and Michelle weren’t fond of Sally Hawkins’ dress. They say it was the wrong fit and the dress wore her, she didn’t wear the dress.
Liza Minelli showed up with a blue streak in her hair and her outfit looked like pajamas. Michelle says her look was “traumatizing.”
Actress Kerry Washington showed off the “vampy lip.” Coulter says it was a nice contrast against her lavender dress. Nelson says she looks like a goddess!
Everything about Lupita Nyong’o worked! The three agree she was one of the Best Dressed.
