CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Parent Magazine is featuring two terrific teens that have helped out in their community and gone above and beyond the community.
Magazine editor, Eve White, says they had more than 120 nominations from teachers, parents and coaches.
Garinger High School senior Chardonae Johnson and Charlotte Christian senior Jeb Blazevich have been named Terrific Teens.
Chardonae has a green thumb. She’s helping classmates learn the importance of gardening with the Gardening Club. She’s number two in her class!
Jeb is heading to University of Georgia next year; he’s the NC ISAA two year state champ for his football team. He was recruited by over 50 major universities before committing to UGA as a junior. Jeb also has won sportsmanship and leadership awards. He says he battles the stigma of being a “jock” by having friends that keep him humble.
