UPDATE: Firefighters were able to contain the ruptured gas line in less than 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews are on the scene of a ruptured gas line at a construction site in south Charlotte.
Officials say the natural gas line was ruptured during the demolition of a home on Cedar Lane.
Firefighters are evacuating people in the immediate area. No injuries have been reported at this time.
