KANNAPOLIS,NC–A 14-year-old boy is recovering Wednesday after he got stuck in a mud pit in Kannapolis.
It took firefighters almost a half an hour to free the teen, the boy and some friends were reportedly taking a short cut through a construction site on West A street.
The boy said he thought he could walk across the mud but got stuck up to his shoulders.
