CHARLOTTE,NC–Two women were attacked and punched in the face during a run in SouthPark.
Wednesday, neighborhood associations are warning residents as police increase patrols, searching for the suspect.
The women told police it happened along a trail on Fairview Road on Friday but people are just now finding out.
The suspect apparently approached from the opposite direction, threw punches, then took off on a bike.
Residents are working to spread awareness.
