CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a northwest Charlotte murder.
Detectives say Deguan Reid and Marte Edwards have both been charged with the murder of Bob Pate, Jr. The shooting happened on September 11th on Stonehenge Lane.
Pate was found a short time later on Beatties Ford Road with injuries from the shooting. He died the next day.
Both suspects have been charged with murder, attempted murder, robbery, shooting into an occupied vehicle, assault by pointing a gun and discharging a firearm within the city limits.
