CARMEL, Ind. (AP) β Authorities say Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay is in jail after being stopped on suspicion of drunken driving last night. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Bryant Orem says Irsay was arrested in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel and that he is being held on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.
LOS ANGELES (AP) β The Los Angeles Clippers now have an 11-game winning streak. Their most recent victims were the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers last night. The Clippers, who were led by Blake Griffin’s 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, beat the Cavs 102-80. Griffin’s big night came on his 25th birthday.
