CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Many teens are attached to their cellphones, and, unfortunately, don’t even put them down while driving!Β
Eve White, editor of Charlotte Parent Magazine, is spreading the word about driving and texting.
It’s the leading cause of death among teen drivers.
White suggests parents talk to their teens about responsible driving and emphasize the risks of distracted driving along with the dangers of drinking and driving.
You can also create a parent-teen driving contract to increase awareness.
