UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A Marshville man won $1 million on a scratch off ticket he purchased in Matthews.
Gersain Gomez Perez bought the $10 ticket at a Sam’s Mart on East Independence Boulevard. Perez, a poultry farmer took a cash payment of $600,000.
He says he is going to take his children to Disney World with some of the money.
