Gay rights groups are accusing Reverend Franklin Graham of turning against a basic Biblical principle: love thy neighbor. Graham praises Vladimir Putin’s attack on so-called gay propaganda in the March issue of a Billy Graham evangelistic association magazine. He doesn’t support violence, but believes Russia has the right to protect itself from what he calls the “damaging effects of any gay and lesbian agenda”.
Graham writes, “Isn’t it sad, though, that America’s own morality has fallen so far on this issue–protecting children from any homosexual agenda or propaganda. Russia’s standard is higher than our own?”
