Elephants Damage Vehicles After Escaping Circus

ST. LOUIS — No word on how much damage circus elephants did after they escaped the big top and headed for the parking lot.

The mini-stampede happened Saturday in St. Louis.  Three elephants bolted out an open door during a performance.

They damaged multiple cars before trainers calmed them down.  The circus says the animals are now resting.  Apparently, they were spooked by some loud noises.
