Β CHARLOTTE, NC — You’ll remember Elevation Church Pastor Steven Furtick delivered the closing prayer at former Mayor Cannon’s swearing in back in December. Β Cannon has told WCCB he and Furtick are close friends. Β The city accepted a $300,000 donation from Elevation Church earlier this year to help fight homelessness. Β
WCCB News @ Ten anchor Morgan Fogarty emailed Furtick’s representative for comment on Cannon’s arrest, but has not received a reply.
