Β CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former two-term Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx is breaking his silence about the corruption scandal. Β Foxx left Charlotte politics last year to become U.S. Secretary of Transportation.
Foxx tells WCCB Charlotte, “It’s sad. Β I share the deep disappointment and personal sentiments expressed by other former leaders of Charlotte. Β The city is bigger than any one person, and now is a time for pulling together and moving forward.”
