CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former two-term Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx is breaking his silence about the corruption scandal. Foxx left Charlotte politics last year to become U.S. Secretary of Transportation.
Foxx tells WCCB Charlotte, “It’s sad. I share the deep disappointment and personal sentiments expressed by other former leaders of Charlotte. The city is bigger than any one person, and now is a time for pulling together and moving forward.”
