CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mixed martial arts has been recognized as one of the fastest growing sports in the last 10 years. UFC 3 was held at the Grady Cole Center many years ago. Fight Lab promotions is returning there for their latest fight card.
Fight Lab 36 kicks into high gear this Saturday, April 5th with a stellar combat card featuring 6 professional bouts, 3 amateur bouts, ring girls, a lot of action and a full house.
I met up with COO Tom Bakley and Joseph “El Dingo Loco” Carroll, a main event participant, at the Fight Lab gym to discuss the upcoming card as well as the history and future of mixed martial arts in Charlotte.
