LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police are investigating a bank robbery in Lincolnton.Β The robbery happened around 9 a.m. at the Peoples Bank on Highway 27 West.Β
The suspect, described as a white man wearing a white t-shirt with a brown zip up hooded jacket, red shorts and white high top tennis shoes, entered the bank and told the teller to ‘give me all of the money and no dye packs or IΒ will shoot you’.Β A weapon was never displayed during the robbery.Β
The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a red, four-door Nissan Altima with NC license plate number ZWK5567.Β The vehicle was stolen from Gaston County earlier this morning.Β
Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call police.
