Β LINCOLNTON, NC — A man wanted for arson, car theft, and a bank robbery is keeping police in two counties busy tonight. Β
Jean Pierre Gendron is now wanted for setting his girlfriend’s home on fire in Cherryville. Β Police say he then stole her car and drove it to Lincolnton to rob a bank. Β
These are surveillance pictures from that robbery at the People’s Bank on Wednesday. Β Gendron is believed to be driving a 2004 Burgundy Nissan Altima with North Carolina license tags ZWK-5567.
