CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver Jason Avant.
Avant played with the Philadelphia Eagles for eight seasons. He was released from the team to clear up space on the team’s salary-cap.
Last season, Avant had 38 catches for 447 yards and two touchdowns.
