FORT MILL, S.C. — Deputies shot and killed a man in Fort Mill early Tuesday morning. The man, 28-year-old James Youngblood, is accused of pointing a gun at police.
Deputies were called to a home on Lurecliff Place in reference to a suicidal man. Deputies claim the man pointed a weapon at them once they arrived on the scene. Deputies shot and killed the man. No other injuries were reported.
The deputies involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
