Documents Detail Items Seized By FBI Agents In Patrick Cannon Corruption Case

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — New documents released in the Patrick Cannon corruption case details what FBI agents seized from Cannon’s home, personal business and the Mayor’s office.

The 14 page document lists dozens of items taken from Cannon’s possession.  Some of the items included a handgun, $7,680 in cash, computers and cell phones.  

Cannon resigned from his position as the Mayor of Charlotte in March, several hours after FBI agents arrested him at a south Charlotte apartment complex. 

He faces up to 50 years in prison and more than a million dollars in fines if he is convicted.
