INDIAN TRAIL,NC–Old fashioned police work helped cops track down a robbery suspect in Indian Trail.
Homeowners reported a break-in after approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry, video games and currency was stolen from their home on Enchanted Drive.
After witnesses told police that they saw a suspicious person and identified the man as Douglas Bercini, officers went to the residence and spoke with the teen’s parent.
While officers were at the residence they noticed Bercini walk from his vehicle to an area behind another house.
After noticing the suspicious activity police approached Bercini and where led to an area where some of the stolen items were located.
Douglas Michael Bercini, 18, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering.
