Health Department Still Offering Free Hepatitis A Vaccines

This video is no longer available.

CHARLOTTE, NC — More than 1,800 people who may have been exposed to Hepatitis A at a restaurant in northwest Charlotte have been vaccinated.  A manager at the Papa Johns on Cambridge Commons Drive near I-485 tested positive for the virus.  People who ate food from the restaurant between March 28 and April 7 may have been exposed.  That includes some students at  JH Gunn Elementary, and some faculty members at Rocky River High School.

If you didn’t get a vaccination and want one, the Health Department is still offering them.  Go to the Beatties Ford Road location between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
