PLEASANT GROVE, UT — Neighbors of a Utah woman charged with killing six of her babies say they don’t know how she concealed all the pregnancies over a 10-year period. Police say Megan Huntsman admitted to either strangling or suffocating the babies immediately after they were born. A seventh dead baby discovered in the garage appears to have been stillborn.
“We always though she looked skinny,” said former neighbor Aaron Hawker. “We never saw any evidence of pregnancies.”
“She was always a good babysitter, because she babysat my grandchildren when they were little,” added former neighbor Kathie Hawker.
Huntsman’s estranged husband found the remains of one of the babies over the weekend while cleaning out the garage of the home the couple shared. He called police, who found the rest.
